Our partner in Raclette, Kaserei Oberli Rislen, al Our partner in Raclette, Kaserei Oberli Rislen, also produces a range of original recipe cheese, one of our favorites being Üsi Lussi. The owner and head cheesemaker, Christian Oberli, seen here, watches over all the wheels as they age to perfection. Üsi Lussi stays in the cellars for five months in total. It boast strong flavors of brown butter, walnuts, and finishes a bit more savory with a deliciously creamy texture. This cheese is perfect for culinary applications, and often times the cheese making team at the dairy enjoys sandwiches featuring Üsi Lussi for lunch daily. Melting season is quickly approaching people, it’s a great time to try out something new and different. Wheels available from inventory right now, don’t miss out!
